All The Same Organization is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting people, families, and communities of color through compassion, creativity, and collective action. We believe that everyone deserves access to resources, safe spaces, and opportunities to thrive, regardless of background or circumstance.
Our Giving Tree program is centered on helping individuals and families access essential resources and educational support through a combination of school partnerships and community-based outreach. We provide customized support packages that may include food, hygiene products, school supplies, clothing, and other necessities, depending on each family’s needs. Families complete a simple needs assessment form, allowing us to tailor assistance to their specific circumstances and ensure resources are both relevant and meaningful.
What makes this approach effective is its accessibility and flexibility. Schools play an important role in identifying students in need and serving as trusted pickup locations, especially in communities with high rates of economic hardship. At the same time, our outreach extends beyond schools to ensure we can reach families who may face barriers such as limited transportation, language differences, time constraints, or a lack of awareness about available services. Rather than requiring families to navigate multiple organizations, we bring resources directly to familiar and trusted spaces.
In addition to meeting immediate needs, the Giving Tree program also supports educational stability by ensuring students have the basic tools and resources needed to succeed in school.
